Contour drawing is a technique in which the artist sketches the outline or contour of a visual subject using only lines. With the natural world as our inspiration, using a variety of materials and techniques, we will create a series of drawings which will stretch and hone our observation and drawing skills. We will also capture details we often overlook and develop our hand-eye coordination. This process-oriented class is about exploring different ways of seeing.
